1st Day Learning the guitar

Ouch! One word to describe my left hand. Trying to build up callus sucks. So today I finally picked up my guitar from the store and ran home to hop on YouTube to learn a couple of things. I did learn a couple of major chords like the G, C, D and A minor and a couple versions of the G and D chords. I managed to come across a couple of easy songs and I managed to play them well lets just say when I called some people and told them to guess the songs..they guessed right. So you're probably thinking I should quit my day job and become a rock star..right? Well, let's just say I picked the 2 easiest songs to guess. "Free falling" and Extreme's "More than Words" Man, I love my guitar, I wish I can play both of the whole songs and sing to it...but that's a little advance where I'm at. Plus come on , my fingers can't handle too much in the beginning. So time for my fingers to get a little break. Until next time..

The Beginning

So I'm 30 years old, I can't find a hobby, love or most importantly myself. I think of myself as a shy, easy going, athletic and pretty freaking cool girl. Remember thats my opinion. When I was young, I thought I knew what I wanted to be, I was actually great at something too. I was passionate about basketball..thats all I knew for a while. I remember being happy back then. Now, I can't think of one thing I am actually good at or even passionate about. I'm in what you call a rut. I am like a lot of people out there trying to find themselves. I'm one of those types of people that just happens to be by myself a lot...at the movies, eating out, pretty much a lot of stuff. You may think I am a loser, somtimes I even think I am one but I'm just a lonely dork. So I started to get bored with my life and thought about starting many new hobbies and hopefully one of them will stick and even better maybe one of em I will be completely passionate about. I'm going to self teach myself in many hobbies from playing the guitar, playing golf, fishing, writing, taking scenic pictures, tennis, video editing, and anything else I can think of. I am going to start blogging about my experiences in learning all these things at this time in my life. Hopefully, things will turn around and I can feel good about something again and maybe even find love along the way. So wish me luck! Here I go!
